About Us Cheerleaders for Charity was started in 2007 by Kiley Zubler. The purpose is for ladies to have FUN while giving of their time to help others in need. On July 23, 2007, fifteen ladies wore Pittsburgh Steelers jerseys and matching shorts to help raise money for cancer research. They participated with a Rotary Club which raised over $22,000 at a golf outing that day. The ladies helped in many ways including having group pictures taken for a $5 donation from the golfers. These ladies said they had a great time and felt good helping to raise money for cancer research. "If this is FUN and we can help Charities, this has to be a great idea." Kiley Zubler There are never enough people to help all of the worthy causes in this country and around the world. By each member giving a little of their time, Cheerleaders for Charity can have an impact on the well being of our communities and our world. Cheerleaders for Charity, Inc. has established a structured organization for ladies to join and be a part of something more than they could do themselves. The second event was participating in Special Olympics, followed by many others. Today Cheerleaders for Charity have their own jerseys, shorts and pants. Members will be required to purchase these items. It is important to reflect a positive image while supporting worthy causes like charities that help others.
